HomeCare & Hospice Holding Aide Training Class in January

HomeCare & Hospice is excited to announce an upcoming personal care aide training class at their Allegany office, located at 115 E. Main Street. The program will run from January 6th through 16th, with sessions held Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. (Please note, there will be no class on Monday, January 13th.) Participants who successfully complete the training will qualify for employment opportunities within the organization.

This comprehensive training program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to become a Personal Care Aide (PCA). These vital roles offer a rewarding career path, allowing individuals to make a real difference by delivering compassionate, one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities may include assisting with bathing and grooming, preparing meals, light housekeeping, running errands, and more—all while fostering meaningful connections with those in need.

Joining the HomeCare & Hospice team means becoming part of an organization dedicated to providing high-quality care and helping patients maintain independence with dignity. HomeCare & Hospice serves communities across Allegany, Cattaraugus, Genesee, and Wyoming counties, with a mission to enhance lives through compassionate care.

Whether you’re looking to start a new career in healthcare or seeking an opportunity to give back to your community, this training program is the perfect first step. Spots are limited, so don’t wait to secure your place in the class.

This training is offered at no cost. Interested individuals must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Upon successful completion, participants will earn certification as a personal care aide. For more information or to reserve your spot, please contact the HomeCare & Hospice Human Resources Department at 716-372-2106 or visit www.homecare-hospice.org.
