ARCADE: HomeCare & Hospice is gearing up to launch its next Personal Care Aide (PCA) training class at its Arcade office, located at 563 W. Main Street. This five-week program runs from February 10 through March 14, with classes held Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. (Please note: There will be no classes during the week of February 24.)
This hands-on training prepares participants for a rewarding career in home healthcare, equipping them with the skills needed to provide essential care to patients in their own homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands—while also offering companionship and emotional support.
By joining HomeCare & Hospice, trainees become part of a mission-driven organization that serves patients across Allegany, Cattaraugus, Genesee, and Wyoming counties. The agency is committed to helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity through compassionate, high-quality care.
This free training opportunity is open to individuals 18 years and older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Graduates will receive PCA certification and have the chance to immediately apply for employment within HomeCare & Hospice.
If you’re looking for a meaningful career that makes a difference, don’t miss this opportunity! Class sizes are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot soon.
